This week’s topic is: Maximizing Back-to-School Deals. There are plenty of deals and specials all over the web and in-stores for you to take advantage of at this time of the year, but in this post, we'll highlight a few of the deals we have at that may be of particular interest to you in the midst of your back-to-school shopping.

First, we have discounts available through
Best Buy and, including a Free Shipping Deal on Back-to-School Necessities that have the green truck logo buy-com-fs_truck_small next to them. Next, there’s a deal with Amazon that can save you up to 30% on new textbooks, and up to 90% on used ones. There’s also deal with which is has one of the largest collection of electronic textbooks on the web.

In this week's podcast, I also talk about a service that I’ve found that can help save money and some of the headaches that many online shoppers face. It’s called “eBillMe” and it allows you to shop online debt-free in a secure environment that protects your personal information while making online purchases.

How it works: You go to the eBillMe site, shop with one of the merchants featured there, and when you check out you select “eBillMe” as your payment option. Next, you receive an email with the bill for your online purchases, and from there, you’re prompted to log into your online banking account and pay the eBill, in the same manner that you would your other online bills, with a 100% fraud protection program, in addition to a 1% cash back bonus with every purchase.

And, as a visitor of the website, you can save an EXTRA $20 on Back-to-School purchases ($200 minimum purchase) by selecting eBillme at checkout & entering the code AFFBTS20.
